In Focus: Arcos Dorados (ARCO)

Back from my short-lived hiatus. Averages are, in my opinion, responding to the lack of quantitative easing. Investor volume is low and defensive plays are the trend. My telecom picks are being destroyed, so I'll try to change pace. Arcos Dorados is the McDonald's of Latin America. It went public around 2 months ago. It's currently at the lower end of the trading range and could be a short-term opportunity. The trading community for this stock is optimistic for long-term growth. It just restructured its stock offering and announced a dividend. ARCO has more traction than most of the IPO's as of late. LinkedIn was a short-lived pump and dump. Pandora never took flight. Chinese-based stocks are currently under negative sentiment. As I am typing this, the stock market is on the brink of having a relatively flat week coming off of 6 weeks of declines. As for technical trading, support is at $20. If support is broken, forget it for a month. If support holds, then expect the next resistance to be at $20.50. Good luck to all.
